It was previously slated to be a sweater for my red-loving nephew. But, I was recently gifted some Rowan kid classic in just about the same shade so now I'm thinking of doing monochromatic stripes with only the change of yarn as the texture. Could be nice, could be an utter disaster...that's the fun, no? :D
Very true. After someone asked about Paton's Divine on the board and I said I didn't really dig it, I decided to get out my leftovers and have another go at it--I think this is the first time I've ever gone into something thinking I'd probably rip it out a whole bunch of times. I'm loving it! The freedom! ; )

Oh but also, i think that's an excellent idea. Texture changes sound great. And subtle.
